Five Questions in Five Parts

This week in my Basic Television Production class, I have to produce and edit interview segment I called "Five Questions."

The piece opens with a two-shot of the host and the guest. The host, in this case Makayla Dotson, introduced herself, the segment ( which is titled Mind Frames) and her guest. The guest is asked to tell a bit about, in this case, herself, who is Andrea Fullington.

This interview follows learning more about Andrea, her life with diabetes, how it has impacted her, what motivates her, and my future endeavors.

One of things I enjoyed the most about this project would be learning more about the impact of diabetes on young children and gaining a passion to be an advocate for it as well. Another thing that I enjoyed about this project was continuing to push editing skills through my creative choices such as the music and intro and outro titles. As well as being able to produce this project, I personally believe that I thrive more being behind the camera and it was amazing to be in a directorial position.
