Bowling Alley Restoration

There is soon-to-be a big change in the works for the old bowling alley that would mark a turning point in Orangeburg history. If the plans of former I.P. Stanback Planteratium and Museum director Ellen Zisholtz come to pass, All Star Triangle will embark on a new chapter!

Flashback to February 8, 1968, a day etched in the minds and hearts of citizens of Orangeburg and the nation. Claiming the lives of three young men at SC State University in a confrontation with state highway patrol officers, gained the name as the Orangeburg Massacre. Three young men that were killed was Henry Smith, Delano Middleton, and Samuel Hammond, Jr.
